Background in Graphic Design

01: Kognitos

As part of the interview process, I created and presented a design showcase to the Kognitos hiring team. The work included research, competitive analysis, moodboards, and ad concepts—framing clarity, forward motion, and human-centered design to position the brand in AI-driven automation.

The Brief

I was asked to develop ideas for Kognitos’ social media postings. To strengthen the work, I extended the scope with additional research into competitors, audience expectations, and brand positioning. The presentation combined moodboards, messaging frameworks, and visual directions that emphasized clarity, forward motion, and a human-centered brand voice.

Creative Process

  • Research & Discovery: Analyzed competitors, customer needs, and positioning to ground creative direction

  • Moodboards & Branding: Defined visual language through color, typography, and brand assets

  • Sketching (Crazy 8’s): Rapid ideation to explore a wide range of concepts

  • Concept Development: Focused on two key directions — “Shhh…” gesture and developer on a treadmill

  • A/B Testing: Refined clarity, tone, and audience engagement through variations

  • AI-Assisted Imagery: Used AI outputs to spark visual ideas and expand exploration

  • Final Designs in Figma: Built polished layouts with hierarchy, clarity, and brand consistency

  • Focus areas: hierarchy, color palettes, art direction, tone.

  • Developed ideas using crazy 8's sketches, iterated on concepts, and refined into high-fidelity designs.

  • Final presentation integrated research insights, art direction, and detailed design decisions.
